Liz Turner is a local artist PAS member whose painting preferences are portraits and figurative work in pastel or oils. Liz leans towards tonal realism and also enjoys experimenting with ink and pastels. A trip to the East Kimberley resulted in a series of portraits of the children from the remote Aboriginal community of Frog Hollow.

Liz has had successful solo art exhibitions at Whitehill Gallery and the Victorian Artists Society, and has taken part in numerous art shows around Melbourne. She has been the recipient of multiple awards, including Best Pastel, Highly Commended and People’s Choice.
