This code applies to all PAS members, volunteers, tutors, and people participating in or attending PAS classes, workshops, demos and other events or activities. Failure to comply with this code of conduct may result in discipline, suspension or expulsion from PAS.

• Treat PAS as a professional artist workspace. Treat everyone with whom you are interacting with the utmost professionalism and respect. This will allow everyone to work, learn and create with confidence, in a safe harmonious space.
• You must be a member of PAS in order to attend classes or art group sessions. An online membership application is available on the PAS website: https://peninsulaartssociety.org.au/members/.
• Mobile phones should be turned off or muted during group activities. Calls must not be taken inside the studios.
• Comply with the current documented Rules & Guidelines for Safe Handling and Disposal of Art Media .
• Do not make personal comments about the tutor/convenor or anyone else participating in a class or art group session.
• Do not publicly comment on, or critique, the artwork of another person unless asked to do so by that person or a tutor.
• Do not take photographs of others, or their artwork, unless explicitly permitted or authorized to do so.
• Treat the PAS facilities and equipment with care and leave the kitchen, bathrooms, toilets, work tables and workspaces clean and tidy after use.
• If you have any concerns relating to the premises, facilities, equipment, conduct of other persons or of a group in which you are participating, please convey these to the relevant tutor or convener, or to a member of the PAS Committee, in a timely and respectful manner.
• Please note that dogs and other animals are not permitted to access studios, or other areas within the PAS building, unless they are a certified assistance/service dog accompanying their handler. Documentary evidence of certification must be provided to a PAS Committee member for approval prior to the workshop. Assistance dogs must remain under the control of their handler at all times, such that they do not pose a risk or annoyance to other users of the facilities. If you bring an animal that has not been approved to the workshop you will be asked to take the animal elsewhere before joining the workshop.
