Lines and marks are our personal language as artists and in this course we will look at different ways to push that artistic expression even further. It will include exercises to stimulate our imagination, respond with spontaneity and draw not just ‘correctly’ from observation but in ways that truly express how we feel about particular subject matter.
This involves engaging our artist’s eye and mind and looking at more than just the ‘physical’ aspect of it, allowing the associations and feelings we have to translate into deeply personal and expressive drawing.

Learning more or starting out
This workshop builds on the ideas explored in Rehann’s previous 2 workshops, while still serving as an excellent introduction to his Bold and Glow techniques for anyone joining for the first time. He’ll revisit the fundamentals and cover exercises that focus on understanding and executing wet-into-wet technique.
