EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
GRAMPIANS PAINTING TRIP 6-11 DECEMBER 2026.
This painting trip offers a unique opportunity to refine your watercolour skills while immersed in the natural beauty of the region. This 5 day excursion focuses on en plein air painting, supplemented by expert demonstrations and tuition.
TRIP OVERVIEW
Dates:- 6 -11 December 2026
Location :- Various sites around Halls Gap, Grampians.
Activities :- Daily painting sessions at different locations, watercolour tuition, and social gatherings with fellow artists.
Inclusions :- Dinner is provided on the first evening. Please note that all other meals, transport and accommodation are not included.
Costs and Registration:- Painter rate – $400.
Non Painter / Partner rate is $250 per person.
Deposit :- A $200 deposit is required by 31 October 2026, to secure your place.
Balance :- is due by the 15 November 2026.
Preparation and Logistics .
Equipment :- Participants must bring their own painting gear, a portable chair or stool, a hat, sunscreen, water for painting and drinking, solid walking shoes, daily snacks and drinks.
Accomodation :- While attendees are responsible for their own lodging, Halls Gap offers motels, caravan parks and Air BnBs. The organiser is staying at the Gariwerd Motel. This motel will offer painters a 15% discount for 4 or more nights.
