Peter Smales ~ Oil Painting Demo

Peter Smales is tonal realist oil painter as well as an art teacher, demonstrator and judge. He is a member of the Twenty Melbourne Painters art group and the Victorian Artists’ Society and has held exhibitions annually since 1982.

Peter’s oil painting demonstration provided a delightful and informative prelude to our annual Christmas party. His painting, full of summer light, featured a landscape rendered in an impressionist style, with a beautifully balanced mix of harmonious and complementary colours. We thank Peter for generously sharing his expertise and knowledge with us.
