NEW! Masterclass in Watercolour

We have been lucky enough to be joined by accomplished watercolour master Greg Allen, one of the famous Twenty Melbourne Painters with a 43-year professional art career.

You will learn the art of traditional watercolour the Greg Allen way, with unique insights, knowledge and demonstrations that will allow you to understand this challenging medium and thus be able to expand your range into such diverse subjects as animals, people, portraits, cityscapes and still life as well as the ever-popular land and seascapes.

Lessons in design, composition and good drawing skills will complement the curriculum. More than anything else, he will teach you to ‘see’ the world as a painter with watery ‘dye’ as your painting material, and you will grow to understand a particular process that applies to all subjects, as you emerge as a ‘watercolourist’ and not merely a generic dabbler with watercolours.
