Art Philosophy
Ever changing tapestry of natures’ colours, texture and juxtaposed spaces is a source of constant inspiration. It is the interaction of design elements and atmosphere which holds a fascination that can lead you to another realm. Although nature is sometimes depicted in a recognizable fashion, it is often preferable for me to use it as only a beginning for a picture.
Colour and textures, for instance, can be the most exciting aspects of a place. The actual appearance in photographic terms could hold little excitement. Pieces can float or unite. Some belong together, some do not, like a jostling crowd working out their preferences. In the relinquishing of learned controls and responses, we open ourselves to levels of communication of a deeper order, and increase our awareness of life’s co-existences – with endless possibilities as an outward moving spiral.
