Lyn’s demo will explore the influence of skylight on the mood of a painting. Although she will be demonstrating using pastel, this subject is relevant to all mediums.

Lyn works most frequently with the soft pastel medium using its beautiful versatility and purity to paint her waterscapes or untamed landscapes.

Her art career has covered paintings hanging worldwide, including five acquired for government collections, and features in eight art reference books. Her support for artists has included art gallery ownership in Frankston, mentorship, and art judging.

Whether tutoring in studio, online or en plein at paintaways, Lyn shows how to see and use the artist’s visual tools. As a featured tutor and demonstrator at both Australian Pastel Expos held in Qld in 2018 and 2022, Lyn had sold out sessions.

Signature Membership and Master Pastelist of the Pastel Society of Victoria Australia, and Life Member and Fellow of The Australian Guild of Realist Artists reflect her cumulative pastel and oil art awards. Her realist/impressionistic works, have a visible sensitivity coming from observation and understanding of her subjects.
